Fall Foliage Walk
Nearly 3,500 trees make up Governors Island’s fall canopy, turning brilliant shades, providing vital food and shelter for native wintering species, and offering essential benefits for Island visitors and all New Yorkers. Join the Governors Island Nature team for free guided walks, held the weekend of the Island’s annual fall festival, Pumpkin Point.
Please note: these tours are held entirely outdoors on Governors Island. Please dress with the weather in mind. The pace is leisurely, with intermittent seating options.
