In celebration of the City of Forest Day, Riverside Park Conservancy will host a family-friendly event at the Park’s 116th Street and Riverside Drive entrance and Forever Wild Forest.

Conservancy staff will provide information and activities for families at our tabling station. Forest stewards will lead the public through the hiking trail, providing a glance into the ecology and natural history of this vital habitat, all the while facilitating a discussion around what this space needs to thrive in the future.

Along this journey, we will be making observations on local wildlife such as birds, insects, and mammals. Nature enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to join!
