Queens Botanical Garden Compost Site Tour

Join the QBG compost tour at the Queens Botanical Garden’s mid-scale compost site. All attendees must register on Eventbrite. For large, student, private, or corporate tours, email compost@queensbotanical.org.

FAQs:

  • Age Requirement: 16+
  • Meeting Location: #25 “Blue Compost Trailer” at Garden entrances.
  • Parking: Free at the Garden’s Parking Garden (42-80 Crommelin St, Flushing).
  • Transportation: Subway: 7 to Main St; LIRR: Port Washington to Main St/Flushing; Buses: Q44-SBS, Q20.
  • What to Bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, water, and a snack.
  • Health & Safety: Follow COVID-19 guidelines and use restrooms via the ramp next to the Visitor & Administration Building.

Cancellations: Notified via email.

Communications: By purchasing tickets, you opt-in to receive Garden communications. Unsubscribe at the bottom of emails or info@queensbotanical.org.

Garden Etiquette: Respect plant collections and fellow guests.

Photography & Videography: QBG may use your image for promotional purposes.
