City of Water Day: Pelham Bay Park Siwanoy Trail Ecology Tour

The Natural Areas Conservancy (NAC) will host a guided walk on the Siwanoy Trail at Pelham Bay Park as part of City of Water Day to explore the trail and learn about our local waterfront. Attendees will learn about sustainable trail building, summer wildflowers and their pollinators, wetland ecology, and the importance of a resilient shared waterfront. If you are attending, please fill out this volunteer waiver.

All ages are welcome. Attendees under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

What should you bring:

  • A water bottle
  • Weather appropriate clothing
  • Sturdy, closed-toe shoes
  • Insect Repellent (optional)

If for whatever reason you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation. Space is limited and we want to ensure we can do our best to accommodate those who are interested.
