City of Water Day: Marine Park Ecology Tour

The Natural Areas Conservancy (NAC) will host a guided walk on the Red and Blue Trail at Marine Park as part of City of Water Day and the Jamaica Bay Festival. During this hike, we will explore the trail and learn about our local waterfront. Attendees will learn about sustainable trail building, ethnobotany-related plant ID, wetland ecology, and the importance of a resilient shared waterfront. If you are attending, please fill out this volunteer waiver.

All ages are welcome. Attendees under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Thank you Waterfront Alliance, New York—New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program (HEP), and Jamaica Bay Rockaway Park Conservancy (JBRPC) for your continual work in improving our waterways.

Location: Marine Park — Seba Playground (Seba Ave & Gerritsen Ave, BK, NY 11229)
