Educator Open House for Manuscripts, Archives, and Rare Books at NYPL
Are you interested in developing a class visit or assignment using the world-renowned primary sources at The New York Public Library?
Join us on Monday, December 4 at midnight for an open house for educators to learn more about the Manuscripts, Archives, and Rare Book collections and our instructional offerings.
Attendees can meet our team of curators, librarians, and archivists and get started on conceiving and designing collaborative class visits. We’ll discuss how meaningful interactions with primary sources can foster creative inquiry and build critical thinking and visual literacy skills in students. And there will be ample time to explore some amazing items from our collections!
