Guided Bird Walk at Brooklyn Botanic Garden
We’re teaming up with Brooklyn Botanic Garden (BBG) and one of our community’s young neighbors, John Dean, to host an exclusive bird-watching tour throughout BBG’s gardens.
Local birdwatcher John Dean will guide this bird walk through Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s renowned landscapes, helping participants track bird calls while explaining our avian neighbors’ fascinating behaviors. Equipment for bird-watching will be provided.
The tour will meet on the Plaza in front of BBG’s Visitor Center Entrance located at 990 Washington Avenue.
- Arrival Time: The tour will begin promptly at 2 p.m. Please plan to arrive by 1:45 pm to ensure participation.
- This event is intended EXCLUSIVELY for youth between the ages of 9-18.
- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone.
