This week, join our longtime docent Pat as she takes you through the long and luminous history of Washington Square Park. The tour will start on the South Side of the Park near the Thompson St entrance. As you walk around this popular and historic park you will be captivated by its physical green presence and the monuments within the space. You will learn about Washington Square Park’s many evolutions and the thoughts and planning that went into its development. In addition, the focus will be on the spirits of the people who have been here from the beginning in order to honor their lives and stories. A few ghostly tales may even intrigue you!

Tours are always free and always fun! We recommend bringing water and comfortable walking shoes. Cancelations will be posted on the website
