Holiday Walking Tour
The Freehold Borough Human Relations Committee welcomes you to the 2022 Holiday Walking Tour.
The walking tour was created to bring awareness to the historic houses of worship of the downtown area to Borough residents and neighboring towns in commemoration of the Borough Centennial celebration. Special thanks to the Historic Preservation Committee, Recreation Commission, and the Unity Coalition of Greater Freehold for their support and participation.
This year we begin at the First Baptist Church of Freehold and will visit three other sites along the route, ending at the Crossroads Center at St. Peter’s Church, where refreshments will be served.

Donations will be accepted for Blessing Bag Brigade, with drop-off at our first stop (First Baptist) or at Crossroads.
We thank you for joining us in this inspirational journey through our town’s past, celebrating the congregations’ presence and contribution to the historical heritage of Freehold Borough.
Remember to dress warmly, and wear comfortable shoes. We ask that you also follow social distancing etiquette and respect the requests of each house of worship that we visit.
