Family-Friendly Walking Tour of Washington Square Park
Join us for a family-friendly walking tour of Washington Square Park in NYC. Plus a visual bingo challenge/no-stress trivia quizzes.
Please join us for a family-friendly Washington Square Park educational walking tour where tour participants will have the chance to learn about the park’s history through a progressive lens. We will talk about the park’s cultural significance. We will also learn a little about the park and the community’s health and medical history.
Washington Square Park is a historic Burial Ground that has countless souls who are buried underneath the park. We’ll provide a concise overview of the community’s Native American, African-American, and European-American histories, as well as other pertinent topics.
Kids and adults will have the chance to do a no-tech/low-tech visual bingo park game challenge, and there will be a chance to answer lots of historical, cultural, and other trivia questions. (No stress!)
Kids will have the option to check out the park’s small green space playground as well (one of two small playgrounds at the park)
