Join NYC Ferry, NYCEDC, and Hornblower Group for a behind-the-scenes tour of the NYC Ferry homeport.

During this tour, you will learn more about the careers, equipment, and people that make NYC Ferry’s 38-vessel fleet reliable for nearly 8 million riders each year. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the NYC Ferry Homeport and speak with crew across Dispatch, Marine Operations, Engineering, and Facilities, including on board an NYC Ferry vessel.

• The meeting location will be outside the Greenhouse (Building #268) inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The visitors’ map for BNY is available here.
• Attendees must be 12 years or older. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• All attendees will be required to sign a waiver.
• All attendees must wear closed-toe shoes. Hard hats will be provided to attendees.
• Attendees will be on a working maritime pier that is exposed to the weather. It is recommended that attendees dress accordingly, as wind and temperatures can differ from locations further inland.
• Attendees should be aware that the site tour involves a substantial amount of walking, and participants should be prepared.
