On Thursday, November 3rd, the NoW is joining forces with Women of Culture, a community for intellectually-curious women with a creative soul, for an exclusive, private Art-full Discovery walk of the Lower East Side, followed by a private gallery reception & circus performance!

Led by fellow member and Founder of Women of Culture, Alexandra Harper the art walk will provide attendees with a deep dive into the art, history & culture of the LES, one of NYC’s most unique and fascinating neighborhoods. Rather than focusing solely on street art, galleries, food, or history, she takes attendees on a voyage through the neighborhood from a holistic perspective, bringing to light its unique essence. Attendees will be introduced to local gallerists, artists, art dealers, and food purveyors along the way, learning about the city from a truly local perspective and with a focus on female artists and female-owned businesses. The Good Vibes on the LES walk focuses on the themes of change, diversity, and entrepreneurship, which are ever-present in this neighborhood.

After seeing three of the latest gallery shows, with food & street art stops along the way, we’ll gather for a private reception at the Voltz Clarke gallery, which is showcasing the work of Field Kallop. Attendees will have a private walk-through of the exhibit with the artist and also be treated to a delightful performance by female circus artist, Kelsey Strauch. Wine & snacks to be served.

The walk is rain or shine and requires approximately 1.5 hours of standing/walking and will cover 1-1.25 miles. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
