Come join us at Theaterlab on January 9th at 7:30 PM for The Six Paths Play Reading. The House will open 10 — 15 minutes before the reading starts. The Six Paths is a spiritual exploration of Vietnamese Buddhism, telling the story of a young demon who grapples with his identity and purpose in the universe. Through his transformative journey toward enlightenment, the play delves into themes of self-realization, cultural identity, and the search for belonging. It spans approximately 70 pages and is divided into two acts with 7 — 10 actors, blending traditional Buddhist concepts with contemporary theatrical innovation. At its core, The Six Paths seeks to resonate with audiences emotionally, offering a window into Vietnamese culture while also reflecting our shared human experiences. This story can inspire conversations about identity, existence, and the meaning of life.
