UNCSA Original Plays: Stick People & SELEDKA

Graduating students from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Drama Program present two new plays in development!

The first is a reading of Stick People, by Anton Gillis-Adelman, starring Rebecca Lembcke and Jake Bryant, which follows two characters who take an Honesty Pill on their first date, as an attempt to find connection in a world of obsessive self-optimization, emotional numbing, and perpetual dishonesty.

The second is a performance of SELEDKA, written and performed by Uliana Klimchuk and directed by Lily Afghani. In the name of Russia, SELEDKA and his new troupe are here to stop the war. His goal? Make sure his soldiers eat, sleep, and bleed Soviet. However, his meeting is hijacked by Ukrainian women recounting tales from the war.

The shows are pay what you can. We hope to see you there!
