Quitter’s Day Run

The event is inspired by the idea of “Quitter’s Day”, which is the day when most people give up on their New Year’s resolutions. According to a study by Strava, a social network for athletes, Quitter’s Day falls on January 19¹. However, Runstreet wants to help people avoid quitting and stay on track with their fitness goals.

The Quitter’s Day Run is a 5K run that will start at 6:30 PM at Pier 25, which is the longest pier in Hudson River Park. The run will follow the scenic Hudson River Greenway, passing by landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The run will end back at Pier 25, where participants can enjoy a post-run party with music, snacks, and drinks.

The run is open to runners of all levels, from beginners to advanced. The run is not timed or competitive, but rather a social and supportive way to connect with other runners and have fun. The run is also a great opportunity to explore the art and culture of Hudson River Park, which hosts various events and activities throughout the year.

Don’t let Quitter’s Day stop you from achieving your fitness goals. Join the Quitter’s Day Run and celebrate your commitment to running and wellness. You will not only get a good workout but also a good dose of inspiration and motivation. Don’t miss this chance to run with Runstreet and have a blast at Pier 25 at Hudson River Park!
