Senior Fit on the High Line

In collaboration with Penn South Program for Seniors, the High Line presents “Senior Fit,” a wellness class in the park.

In this free fitness class taught by Teresa Cuevas, students work individually and in teams to improve body balance, stability, and agility. Exercises strengthen and tone muscles while improving coordination.

Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes to move around in. Water will be provided.

Senior Fit is part of our High Line Wellness programming, designed specifically with older adults in mind. Adults of any age are invited to join the High Line to learn, move, have fun, and connect with neighbors. Wellness activities, educational sessions, cultural engagements, and other events are offered on and near the park, in collaboration with local community-based organizations that serve older adults in Chelsea, in Hell’s Kitchen, and on the West Side of Manhattan.
