Zazen Meditation
This class is a Zen Meditation based on Japanese Buddhist teachings.
The session starts with some breathwork, followed by a Heart Sutra chant (optional), ending with 20 minutes of zazen (sitting in silence and stillness).
Zazen is a meditative practice that’s meant to give insight into your true nature of being. Improved physical health is another benefit: people who practice zazen report lower blood pressure, reduced anxiety and stress, better immune systems, more restorative sleep, and other improvements.
