Foldscope Workshop for Educators

Foldscope is an affordable, paper microscope designed at Stanford University that allows anyone to explore the microscopic world.

This event is part of the Foldscope Fast & Curious Tour, which offers free 90-minute hands-on workshops where participants receive Foldscope paper microscopes and in-person training.

Are you a teacher, a community garden leader, or an amateur mycologist?

We are aiming to reach educators and community leaders whose students and communities would benefit from exploring the microscopic world. The instructor is fluent in both English and Spanish and is happy to provide training in either language.

Participants will receive training on the Foldscopes and can request some free Foldscopes for their students.

Biotech Without Borders is a nonprofit community biolab open to the public in Queens, NY, easily accessible via the E, F, G, and 7 subways at the Court Square subway station.
