After a sold-out event in September, Jann Klose will host another FREE masterclass and workshop in New York City at Studios 353 in the Theatre District on Sunday, February 16th from 1-4 PM. Many topics will be covered including: Voice, Songwriting, Performing, and most importantly how to create a sustainable career in the arts as a creative!

The masterclass/workshop is first come, first served and seating is limited. Don’t miss your opportunity to learn about many aspects of the entertainment industry including auditioning, singing techniques, warmups, picking the right material, songwriting, publishing and collaboration, aspects of music production and podcasting, finding representation, self-marketing, sustainability, and networking.

You will have the chance to ask Jann questions, get answers, and meet like-minded individuals and talent. RSVP is required to attend. This is a free event and open to the public.

About Jann Klose:

Jann Klose is an award-winning pop singer-songwriter, who has released seven albums and two EPs. Klose was raised in Kenya, South Africa, Germany, and the United States. Singles from his most recent album Surrender (2023) have accumulated over 5 million streams across all platforms and charted on Top 40 radio in both the US and South Africa. He has taught masterclass at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (founded by Paul McCartney), the Academy of Sound Engineering Johannesburg, and Music Exchange in Cape Town.

Jann served as Tim Buckley’s singing voice in the 2012 film Greetings from Tim Buckley. His songs have been heard on the GRAMMY^® nominated Healthy Food For Thought compilation, charted in the Billboard Top 10 compilation Action Moves People United, and have appeared in MTV Cribs. The movies Married Young, Dead Broke, and One Little Finger, where he worked alongside Quincy Jones.

Jann has performed as an actor and singer in touring companies of Broadway musicals, including Jesus Christ Superstar, Jekyll and Hyde, and The Who’s Tommy as well as in made-for-TV movies, voiceovers, and commercials. In 2020, Jann launched his podcast, Making Sound with Jann Klose. With over 100 episodes the show has featured guests such as John Mahon (Elton John Band), Simon Kirke (Free, Bad Company), and Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad).
