(Be)Tween Time at Randall’s Island Urban Farm

<(Be)Tween Time is a free monthly event series for young people ages 8-13 who want to meet and hang out with other tweens at the Randall’s Island Urban Farm (www.randallsisland.org, @randallsisland).

Upcoming 2022 Events:

Saturday, August 20: Plant-Based Cooking Class with Chef Irbania Tavares. In this hands-on cooking class, we’ll prepare fresh, plant-based dishes using produce we’ve harvested during a tour of the Urban Farm!

Saturday, September 17: Author Event and Doughnut Decorating with Local Author Jessie Janowitz. This event is part of the Randall’s Island Children’s Book Festival (12-3:30 pm). Come meet local author Jessie Janowitz as we celebrate her books The Doughnut Fix and The Doughnut King, followed by a book signing and doughnut decorating! Register for the festival, including this event, here.

Saturday, October 15: Fall Cookie Decorating with Chef Irbania Tavares. Back by popular demand, Chef Irbania will teach us how to decorate cookies featuring the natural beauty of autumn leaves!
