This workshop will focus on what joy and gratitude we can bring to our lives as we move forward as continue to heal during the pandemic. The past two years have been a struggle for all our communities as we lived through the difficulties of navigating our lives during the pandemic. In many ways, we are being reshaped and our ways of viewing life have changed.

This writing workshop will look at the following:

What is Joy? How do we recognize Gratitude? In reshaping our lives, we learn to walk new paths in turn there is a rebirth. How do we handle our futures emotionally, mentally, and spiritually?

Author and facilitator Maria Aponte will walk participants through several writing and meditation exercises that will look at each area. Ms. Aponte will use prompts for each area. This will be a 2-hour workshop.

Entrance at Rosedale and Lacombe Avenues, past the amphitheater, take the path along the waterfront, leading past the boat launch. When you see the concrete circle with a sign that says Soundview Point at the waterfront, you are there.
