Houses of worship face unique challenges of finding the right balance between protecting their congregations against violence and maintaining a welcoming environment.

This training aims to help congregations:

• Recognize common House of Worship security vulnerabilities
• Practice de-escalation techniques
• Learn what to do “until help arrives”
• Develop emergency operations plans
• Prepare to apply for the National Security Grant Program
