Join award-winning playwright Eric Avilés of Liberation Arts Collective for an engaging playwriting and theater workshop series. These workshops are thoughtfully designed with a holistic approach, giving special consideration to the unique perspectives of people of color and Bronx residents, with a target audience of individuals aged 18 and above.

Workshop Details:

• Duration: 6 sessions
• Basic writing: this is an introductory-level playwriting (nonacademic) environment.
• Flexible Attendance: Attend all workshops or drop in for individual sessions.
• Full Experience: It is highly recommended to attend all sessions for a comprehensive understanding of crafting characters, a short scene, or a one-act play.
• Diverse Participation: People of Color and Bronx residents are highly encouraged to participate, as this space is dedicated to nurturing the untold stories of people of color.
• Experience Level: No experience necessary. All levels of experience are welcome.
