UBS Virtual Cooking: Homemade Whipped Cream Workshop

Classic Whipped Cream
Makes 1 ½ - 2 cups
1 cup heavy cream, kept cold
2 — 4 tbsp powdered sugar (or preferred sweetener)
½ - 1 tsp vanilla paste or extract
1. Place the bowl of a stand mixer (or a deep mixing bowl if using a handheld mixer) in the freezer for 15 minutes to chill. Add the cream, 2 tbsp of sugar, and ½ tsp vanilla. Mix on high speed until soft peaks form. Stop the mixer; taste and add more sugar or vanilla as desired. Place the mixer on medium speed and whip until medium peaks form.
*it is preferable to under-whip than overwhip, so be sure to watch the cream as it whips and use a slower setting toward the end
