Removing negative self-talk: Class for high-performers
In my many years working with high-performing individuals, I’ve noticed limiting patterns affecting performance and overall wellness. Some include a lack of self-confidence (e.g., impostor syndrome), self-sabotage, burnout, negative self-talk, and perfectionism.
Negative self-talk is the constant and often unconscious pattern of negative thoughts about ourselves, our abilities, and our circumstances. It can significantly impact our performance, mental health, self-esteem, and well-being.
When high-performing individuals don’t meet their expectations, they may engage in negative self-talk, such as “I’m not good enough,” “I’m a failure,” or “I’m not competent.” This can create a cycle of self-doubt and anxiety, ultimately hindering their success. If these thoughts are not managed, they can lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, and burnout.
The “Removing Negative Self-Talk” master class aims to help high-performing individuals identify and overcome self-defeating beliefs and negative thought patterns. You will learn practical techniques and strategies to silence your inner critic and develop a more positive and empowering internal dialogue.
In this class, you will learn:
- What’s self-talk and the keys to detecting it
- The roots of this thought pattern
- Common distorted beliefs
- A technique to reframe your thoughts (switch negative self-talk)
Before the event, you will receive a Zoom invitation.
