ASL Interpretation at Intrepid Museum Kids Week
Families and individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing are invited to attend Intrepid Museum Kids Week for free on February 19, 23, and 25! Advance registration is required.
Join us at the Intrepid Museum for Kids Week where children of all ages and interests will learn about STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts & math) through fun-filled activities, NASA displays & exhibits, live animal shows, hands-on workshops, performances, special guests and interactive demonstrations designed to educate and inspire.
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided on February 19, 23 and 25 for demonstrations, workshops and performances throughout the day.

Sunday, February 19, 10:00 am — 5:00 pm
The theme of the Day: NASA Displays and Exhibits
NASA scientists and engineers will be on-site with exhibits and demonstrations, including hands-on activities for kids of all ages!
Thursday, February 23, 10:00 am — 5:00 pm
The theme of the Day: Animals and the Environment
Watch a very special performance of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show: Storytime Presentation, see a live animal show and join us in the Education Maker Zone!
Saturday, February 25, 10:00 am — 5:00 pm
The theme of the Day: STEAM
Join us for some hands-on STEAM learning! Explore how space shuttles got into space at Intrepid’s Blastoff! an interactive demonstration or join MAD SCIENCE for some scientific fun with fire and ice!
