CLSJ Community Book Club

The Community Book Club is celebrating Juneteenth by reading.

We Do This ’Til We Free Us: Abolitionist Organizing and Transforming Justice by Mariame Kaba is a powerful collection of essays and interviews that explores prison industrial complex abolition and the broader vision of collective liberation. Kaba, a well-known organizer and educator, argues that abolition is not just about dismantling prisons and policing but about reimagining society to ensure people have access to essential needs like food, shelter, education, and healthcare.
