Small Press Spotlight: Eponymous Books

Eponymous Books is a brand-new publishing imprint. Based in Brooklyn, Windsor Terrace to be exact, we plan to bring forth novels that entertain and captivate; in other words, we aim to bring some fun into the whole idea of book publishing.

A panel, featuring authors:

JC Hopkins is an American author, poet, painter, screenwriter and songwriter. He is the author of the novels The Perfect Fourth, I Was a Teenage Communist, An Extraordinary Turn of Events and multiple books of poetry. He is the screenwriter for the feature film “Poets Are The Destroyers”, winner in the best feature film category for the QueerX Film Festival and in the best comedy category for the New York Women’s Film Festival. He has been twice nominated by the Grammys, for his song “Dreams Come True”, written for Norah Jones and Willie Nelson, and for his production of a children’s album for actor John Lithgow. He also leads a jazz big band, the world-renowned JC Hopkins Biggish Band.

Linh Luu has an M.F.A in fiction from Columbia and is a Morehead-Cain Scholar at the University of North Carolina — Chapel Hill. She also writes non-fiction and has published book reviews and personal essays on identity, womanhood, and power. She was previously an apprentice at The Believer Magazine. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and dog.

Arthur Nersesian is the author of fourteen books, including the cult-classic national bestseller The Fuck-Up (more than 100,000 copies sold), Suicide Casanova, Manhattan Loverboy, East Village Tetralogy, and Mesopotamia and The Five Books of (Robert) Moses.
