Short Story Discussion: Two by Chekhov

This event is ONLINE only.

Join the Grand Concourse staff to discuss two humorous stories by the Russian master, Anton Chekhov. The stories are “Oh! The Public!” and “The Orator.” The American short story writer, Eudora Welty, once said, “Reading Chekhov was just like the angels singing to me.” Click the titles above to read the stories. On the day of the program, a link to join the discussion will be sent to you.

Anton Pavlovich Chekhov (1860-1904) was a Russian playwright and short-story writer who is considered to be among the greatest writers of short fiction in history. His career as a playwright produced four classics, and his best short stories are held in high esteem by writers and critics. — from Wikipedia
