Are you tired of your book club’s picks? Are you tired of a loud house? Are you tired of your roommates (aka your children)? Your secret is safe with us.

Join us on Thursday, August 29 in our wine garden for Silent Book Club at Kinderhook Books, where we gather our bookish community to sip beverages, nosh on food from our menu, and read the book of *your* choice in complete silence. We’ll have chairs spread throughout the garden, as well as a few blankets for those of you who want to relax on the lawn.

Here’s the plan:

5:30-6 p.m.: Purchase your drinks, snacks, or books — and get settled into your seat.

6-7 p.m.: Reading hour.

7-7:30 p.m.: The bookshop and wine garden remain open for those of you who want to stay and socialize, have a drink, or shop!

The event is free but space is limited, so be sure to secure a ticket!
