Teach Me How to Invest Mommy Book Launch, Red Carpet Literacy Celebration

Does your child want to be a millionaire someday? Becoming an investor is the perfect way to do it. Join Tai for the official BOOK LAUNCH, BOOK READING, and BOOK SIGNING of her life-changing book, “Teach Me How to Invest Mommy” and make sure you show up in style.

Get RED CARPET ready because Summer reading for kids is getting better and this fun, financial literacy event is all about the kids!

Financial literacy is more than reading money words on a page; it is the ability to understand financial concepts and implement them to improve your life. Financial literacy is one of the keys to success and we have fun, engaging activities to help children begin their journey! From kid-friendly red-carpet interviews, securing your first share of stock and STEM activities, to Tai reading her book to curious children, this event will set the tone for holistically supporting childhood financial literacy.

The organizer, Tai Abrams, is the author of Teach Me How to Invest Mommy, a multilingual children’s series. Tai’s book is culturally responsive, providing relatable and realistic African American and/or Afro-Latino characters that allow students to see themselves on their journey to success. Representation matters. Books, like Teach Me How to Invet Mommy, is what can expand a child’s realm of belief, vision, and understanding.

Financial literacy is important and what better way to contribute to summer reading than having a diverse and inclusive book to read. As Ms. Tai says, “When you see yourself culturally in the images and standards of excellence all around you, you become excellent and are well positioned to thrive.”
