Join Lisa Bondy, in-person at the Center for Wellness, as she welcomes Esther Safran Foer on zoom to discuss her book described by Nathan Englander as “A beautiful exploration of collective memory and Jewish history”.

Esther Safran Foer was born in post-war Europe to parents who were Holocaust survivors. She is the author of I Want You to Know We’re Still Here, a National Jewish Book Award finalist, which has been translated into 8 languages. She was the founding CEO of Sixth & I and is the President of the new Capital Jewish Museum. Esther and her husband Bert are the parents of 3 sons, Frank, Jonathan, and Joshua, all best-selling authors, and the grandparents of 7. “This book is, above all else, the redemption song of her family and of her people.
