The Sheroes Book Tour is back in Brooklyn and we will uncover the hidden connection between The Woman King and our very own beloved Haitian Shero, Aunt Tòya.

International scholar and historian Professor Bayyinah Bello will be leading the conversation and providing insight on why this connection is important to Haiti and us. Professor Bello will also be signing copies of the best selling book, SHEROES of the Haitian Revolution.

Also joining the event are Thorobred Books authors Frantz Derenoncourt, Jr. with his award-winning Haitian Heroes Series and Denizè Lauture with his new book The Epic Story of Toussaint Louverture.

Special guest host Sabina Michel will be interviewing the Professor and fielding questions from the audience.
