Aptos Natives is a community focused on developer and founder education. Based in New York, the group invites industry experts every month on stage to share their stories, insights and best practices with the community.

Brian Olson, Senior Blockchain Security Analyst at FYEO

Brian is working with cryptocurrency since 2017. He studied Applied Physics and Applied Math at Virginia Tech. While still in school, Brian turned his attention towards data analysis and machine learning, with the objective of writing algorithmic trading bots for stocks/crypto.

Tuyet Duong, PhD, Director of Cryptography and Blockchain Security at FYEO

Tuyet has a PhD degree in blockchain security and cryptographic protocols from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and she was co-creator of many practical and secure blockchain systems such as 2-hop hybrid PoW/PoS blockchain, Twinscoin, and Multi-mode cryptocurrency system.

FYEO

FYEO is a cybersecurity company focused on securing and empowering enterprises and individuals on the journey to Web 3.0 with blockchain security audits, digital threat monitoring and intelligence and decentralized identity management.

Varun Verma, Security Engineer at Zellic

Varun has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Chapel Hill and works in the Blockchain industry since 2017. While previously focused on AI in the healthcare industry, through the use of deep learning models, he pivoted to smart contract security after realizing the exciting & critical nature of blockchain security. Currently, Varun is working on making sure LayerZero is secure.

Zellic

Zellic is an award-winning blockchain security firm, built out of a team of leading experts in smart contract design and Web3 development, cryptography, web security, and reverse engineering. Before Zellic, they founded perfect blue, on of the top whitehat hacking teams in the world.

David Tarditi, VP of Engineering at CertiK

David has over 16 years of experience growing and leading engineering and research teams. Before joining CertiK, he had a 25-year career at Microsoft. He is inventor and co-inventor on 22 patents. He has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
