Weill Cornell Medicine Wellness Series: “Staying Safe in the Summer Heat”

Summer can be a time for relaxation and enjoying the sunshine but it can also be a time to worry about heat-related illnesses. Heat stroke, the most severe of the heat-related illnesses can even be deadly. Learning about these heat-related conditions and what you can do to prevent them is important.

Join us to understand the signs, symptoms, and treatment methods for heat-related illnesses. We will also discuss what you can do to help keep yourself safe in the summer and address some common myths.

Nicole Lauren Gerber, MD, is a Clinical Emergency Medicine Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine.
