The Sally Henderson Green Design Lecture

Join us for our 2024 Sally Henderson Lecture on Green Design featuring Avinash Rajagopal, editor-in-chief of Metropolis magazine and advocate for sustainable architecture and design.

He will present Interior Design Is Critical for our Future. Design is the missing middle in our efforts to fight climate change; it is the next frontier in our understanding of our brains and bodies; and it is a cultural force that makes an economic, social, and experiential impact in the lives of millions of people around the world. So, how can we prepare to be professionals on the frontlines of change?

The Sally Henderson Green Design Lecture is an annual event created to honor the memory of NYSID faculty member, Sally Henderson, who developed the College’s first course in sustainable or green design.

Time: 6:30-8:00 pm EST
