2nd Sunday Lecture Series “The Real Molly Pitcher”
Over the years several candidates have been proposed as the identity of Molly Pitcher, the heroine of Monmouth. Dr. Martin, who has written a book on the subject, will present the case for the real Molly Pitcher and her true identity.
This program will be presented by award-winning author and Friends of Monmouth Battlefield President, Dr. David Martin. Dr. Martin is the author of over 20 books on the Revolutionary War and Civil War, including two award-winning books on Gettysburg. He is also the author of “A Molly Pitcher Sourcebook” (2003),
