Urban Research Seminar
This seminar, co-facilitated by faculty members spanning various departments within the university, provides doctoral students with a chance to explore the most recent theoretical and empirical research on crucial urban topics. The format of the course differs from traditional lectures; instead, it centers around colloquium-style discussions that revolve around ongoing academic projects presented by scholars from diverse disciplines. These scholars come from fields such as sociology, history, planning, law, public health, public policy, and economics. The seminar is intentionally designed to embrace a multidisciplinary approach, making it open for participation to urban students, faculty, and staff from all corners of the university.
