The lecture will teach participants how to make their eco-friendly de-icing solutions using common household ingredients, such as vinegar, baking soda, and salt. The lecture will also explain the environmental impacts of conventional de-icing products, such as rock salt, and how they can harm plants, animals, and water quality. The lecture is free and open to anyone aged 13 and above, but registration is required.
