The Critical Perspectives on Democratic Anti-Colonialism Project and the Sociology Department at The New School for Social Research, invites you to our next Spring 2022 workshop. The program brings together faculty and students from across The New School interested in exploring the theoretical foundations and political manifestations of radical democratic and anti-colonial traditions.

Our next event features Ye Liu, PhD Candidate in Sociology at The New School, who will be presenting his work in progress, “The Tropical Knowledge in Tension: Chinese Socialist Architects in Africa, 1960s-70s.”

Andreas Kalyvas, Associate Professor of Politics at the New School for Social Research, will be commenting.
