School districts need to ensure that the instructional resources and Ed Tech tools they purchase have demonstrated evidence of effectiveness in improving teaching and learning. It can be difficult for new Ed Tech companies designing products for ECE-K-12 learning to know how to collect evidence of their program’s effectiveness and to earn industry accolades and validation for their instructional tools. This session will provide participants with an overview of the landscape of ECE-K-12 Ed Tech products & program validators. Participants will develop an action plan for researching and demonstrating the evidence of their program’s effectiveness to increase sales to ECE-K-12 schools and districts.

Learning Outcomes:

• Participants will understand the steps necessary to conduct their own research about their instructional program’s evidence of effectiveness.
• Participants will know which industry validators can help validate their program’s efficacy, and the steps required to earn validation from each one.
• Participants will develop an action plan for collecting evidence of product effectiveness.
