Classic Movie “Flower Drum Song” (1961)
Directed by Henry Koster and based on the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, “Flower Drum Song” is a vibrant romantic comedy set in San Francisco’s Chinatown. The story follows Mei Li (Miyoshi Umeki), a young woman who arrives as an arranged bride for nightclub owner Sammy Fong (Jack Soo), only to discover he loves showgirl Linda Low (Nancy Kwan).
