Directed by Orson Welles, “Touch of Evil” is a gritty film noir set in a corrupt border town between the U.S. and Mexico. The story begins with a dramatic car bombing, which draws the attention of Mexican narcotics investigator Miguel “Mike” Vargas (Charlton Heston) and his American wife, Susie (Janet Leigh).
