The Wild Robot is a heartwarming animated adventure directed by Chris Sanders, based on the bestselling book by Peter Brown. The story follows ROZZUM unit 7134, or “Roz” (voiced by Lupita Nyong’o), a highly advanced robot who mysteriously activates on a remote, uninhabited island after a shipwreck. With no memory of her past, Roz must adapt to the harsh wilderness, learning to communicate with the island’s wary animal inhabitants — including a protective goose (Bill Nighy) and an orphaned fox cub (Pedro Pascal). As she grows to understand nature and forms unexpected bonds, Roz discovers her true purpose while facing threats from both the wild and her robotic origins.
