“The Lucky One” (2012), directed by Scott Hicks, is a romantic drama based on Nicholas Sparks’ novel of the same name. The film stars Zac Efron as U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault, who, during his third tour in Iraq, discovers a photograph of a woman that he believes becomes his good luck charm, protecting him from harm.
