A documentary about Ida Kelarová and her desire to change the world. Romani children from the Čhavorenge ensemble have ten days to prepare for concerts with the Czech Philharmonic under Ida Kelarová’s guidance during a summer camp near Bardejov. These concerts could open a path out of the settlements or ghettos they come from. For Ida Kelarová, the settlements are like life-long concentration camps, where few manage to escape and build a better life. The children have ten days to understand that they haven’t just come to spend their summer holidays, but that they have a chance to make a decisive step toward a new life. Whoever grasps this opportunity will find their way out of the settlement.
Tickets and Admission: Tickets are free and may be sold in excess of venue capacity. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis; late arrivals may be denied entry once capacity is reached. All ticket sales are final. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the show starts; latecomers may be refused admission.
