Film Series “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” (2016)
“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” takes us to 1920s New York City, a world hidden from ordinary humans, where magical creatures roam alongside muggles. We meet Newt Scamander, a British magizoologist, who arrives in the city carrying a magical suitcase filled with fascinating and sometimes dangerous creatures.
When some of Newt’s creatures escape, they wreak havoc on the city, drawing the attention of MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America) and a dark force seeking to exploit the chaos for its sinister purposes. Newt finds himself caught in the middle of a magical conflict, forced to work with a group of unlikely allies, including a No-Maj (non-magical person) named Jacob Kowalski, a talented baker who accidentally becomes entangled in the magical world.
Together, they must track down the escaped creatures, prevent them from causing further harm, and uncover the true intentions of the mysterious force behind the escalating magical turmoil. The film explores themes of acceptance, tolerance, and the importance of understanding and appreciating the different forms of life, both magical and mundane.
“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is a prequel to the Harry Potter series, expanding on the magical world created by J.K. Rowling and introducing new creatures, characters, and magical concepts. It’s a visually stunning and action-packed adventure that blends fantasy, humor, and a touch of danger, captivating audiences with its charm, suspense, and magical realism.
