“Brooklyn” tells the story of Eilis Lacey, a young Irish woman who immigrated to Brooklyn in the 1950s in search of a better life.

Eilis leaves behind her loving family and a close-knit community in Enniscorthy, Ireland, embarking on a journey to a new and unfamiliar world.
