New Release Film Screening: “Wonka” (2023)
Wonka is a musical fantasy film directed by Paul King, from a script he co-wrote with Simon Farnaby. It stars Timothée Chalamet as the main character. The film is based on the children’s novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl and is a prequel to Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory by Mel Stuart. The film focuses on Wonka’s early days as an eccentric chocolatier and the challenges he had to endure to become the world’s greatest chocolatier.
