The Peanuts Movie (2015) is an animated comedy film based on the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz. It is the first Peanuts film in 35 years and the first to be made with computer animation. The film follows the adventures of Charlie Brown, who tries to impress the Little Red-Haired Girl, and his dog Snoopy, who writes a novel about his alter ego, the World War I Flying Ace. The film features the voices of Noah Schnapp, Bill Melendez, Hadley Belle Miller, and Kristin Chenoweth, among others. The film was directed by Steve Martino and written by Craig Schulz, Bryan Schulz, and Cornelius Uliano, who are the son, grandson, and nephew of Charles Schulz, respectively.
